In Lucca, the production of olive oil has an old history and tradition; it is high-quality thanks to very favourable land and climatic conditions and in the past it was known as the 'Gold of Lucca'.
At la Fabbrica di San Martino, we have 10-acre of olive groves, which produce premium olio extra vergine (extra virgin olive oil) from the frantoiane, leccine and moraiole varieties, grown here. The clean, fruity taste of this blend of olives is delightfully harmonious. The production is around 400, 500 litres per year. All olives are picked by hand and arrive at the mill within six to 12 hours of the harvest.
Our olive oil is both Organic and Demeter certified; it is available in bottles of 100, 250, and 500 ml.
